Group Description The Global Security Admin Group within Jefferies is tasked with the responsibility of managing application access throughout the firm.GSA is responsible for ensuring that users obtain and maintain the correct level of access to company applications.This is facilitated throughout the Joiner, Mover, and Leaver processes that is overseen by the GSA team.

Position: The Global Security Admin provides hands-on technical support to complex and detailed information security and application issues. We are looking for an experienced manager who will keep the department running in an efficient and sustainable manner.Someone who will ensure that tasks and goals are completed on time and can manage a team in a complex and challenging environment.Lastly, someone who will work with the GIS and IT Management teams to identity and improve areas of the Joiner, Mover, Leaver and certification process (JML) to enable continuous growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

Set a clear mission and deploy strategies focused towards that mission

Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities

Take ownership of end user issues and follow problems through to resolution

Keep accurate records and ensure that actions and discussions are documented

Analyze statistics and compile accurate reports

Keep ahead of industrys developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement

Managing user access certifications

Work with application teams to establish and document requirements to manage company applications and ensure that the team is trained

Ensure and assist with providing the exact level of access to applications corporate-wide

Manage the creation and utilization of application runbooks to ensure that application access is provisioned/de-provisioned properly.

Develop and manage training for your team

Ensure the team is providing accurate and timely application support to all users

Assist users with timely feedback on all application issues directed to GSA

Demonstrates strong trouble-shooting skills in complex communication environments

Communicate cross functionally to gain consensus - works diligently to build an understanding with balanced participation

Ability to develop, communicate, and coordinate project plans and projects. Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and be a team leader and facilitate brainstorming sessions.

Ability to make timely recommendations to effectively solve problems, using independent judgment consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations, and/or law.

Required Background:

Proven working experience as a customer/client services or Information Security manager

Ability to think strategically and to lead

Strong end user facing and communication skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills

Bachelor degree (or higher) in IT related discipline or equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience working in a corporate environment, supporting the end-user community as well as application stakeholders

Familiarity with application recertification process

Desired Experience/Skills:

Familiarity with Service Management concepts and ITIL framework

Experience with managing access for banking and trading applications

Experience working in financial industry

Experience with Information Security

Experience working with Auditors and Regulators

CISA or CISM Preferred

The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $180,000.
