JOB DESCRIPTION: Warehouse Associate – Loader

Loaders are Ollie’s Associates working in the Outbound department of the Distribution Center. Loaders are primarily responsible for the safe & accurate loading of all Ollie’s trucks.

Responsibilities:

• Loading of all Ollie’s trucks either manually or using Material Handling Equipment

• Ensure product is loaded properly and accurately for safe transport to stores

• Ensure product is loaded tightly to maximize space and to limit overall in transit damage to product

• Maintain efficiency and overall productivity to limit the recirculation of product

• Meet minimum productivity expectations

• Maintain a safe & clean workspace at all times

· Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.

• Ability to work independently and self-motivated to seek work.

• Ability to complete assignments in time allotted.

• Ability to work effectively, in a professional environment.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule (until work is done)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.

• Ability to bend and twist frequently.

• Must have ability to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures.

• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

Associate will not be compensated below the minimum wage for the specific location where the individual has applied in accordance with city, county, and state requirements.
