NextCare Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our full-time urgent care team in Victoria, Texas . This role is ideal for clinicians who are comfortable working independently in a high-volume, fast-paced urgent care environment and caring for patients across the lifespan.

Clinic Hours:
Mon Fri: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM
Sat Sun: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Setting: Walk-in urgent care
Patient Population: Infant to geriatric
Full-time schedule
High-autonomy urgent care practice
Established clinical workflows and operational support
Treat a broad mix of urgent care cases and occupational health visits
Perform procedures including suturing and initial x-ray interpretation
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent care patients of all ages
Manage patient volume efficiently while maintaining quality care
Perform urgent care procedures and interpret diagnostics
Provide clear discharge instructions and follow-up plans
Document care accurately in the EHR
Code and bill appropriately for services rendered
Practice in accordance with NextCare clinical standards and policies
Prior urgent care experience (required)
Active, unrestricted Texas NP or PA license
Active DEA (or ability to obtain)
PA: NCCPA certification
NP: ANCC or AANP certification (Family Nurse Practitioner required)
Comfortable treating all age groups independently
Active BLS certification
EHR proficiency
Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (training provided)
Multiple years of urgent care or ED fast-track experience
Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)
Initial x-ray interpretation experience
