\n\nTravel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
\n\nOpportunity:
\nCT Technologist - CT Tech
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Provide diagnostic imaging services to patients using various imaging modalities
\n• Perform CT scans, X-ray, and Fluoroscopy procedures with C-arm and OR work
\n• Execute all exams based on Imaging Department Protocols or protocol with Radiologist
\n• Practice radiation safety adhering to ALARA standards
\n• Operate equipment consistent with manufacturer's recommendations
\n• Troubleshoot equipment problems and call service engineers when needed
\n• Verify exam orders and identify patients through two means of identification
\n• Review and document patient medical history and obtain informed consent
\n• Maintain accurate patient records in EHR including procedure and supply charging
\n• Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other modalities and adjusting schedules
\n• Take call, overtime, or holiday shifts as needed
\n• Assist with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation when required
\n• Order, stock, and maintain supply inventory
\n• Must be self-motivated with ability to work with minimum supervision
\n• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technologist program required
\n• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) required
\n• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
\n• Prior experience as practicing Radiologic Technologist preferred
\n• Cross-training in CT, MRI, DEXA, and Mammography preferred
\n• Experience with electronic records including PACS and RIS/HIS preferred
\n• Must be at least 18 years of age
\n• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
