Job Title: Structural Steel Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Steel Project Engineer to join our dynamic team, contributing to the successful execution of complex and innovative projects.

Job Summary: As the Structural Steel Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, design, and execution of structural steel projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure the seamless integration and successful completion of structural steel projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning:


    • Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for structural steel projects.
    • Assist in defining project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
  • Design Support:


    • Work with the engineering team to review and analyze structural steel designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
    • Provide input on design improvements and value engineering opportunities.
  • Construction Oversight:


    • Coordinate with on-site construction teams to ensure the proper execution of structural steel projects.
    • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure adherence to project plans.
  • Quality Control:


    • Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure that structural steel projects meet or exceed industry standards and project requirements.
    • Conduct inspections and address any quality issues promptly.
  • Documentation:


    • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including drawings, specifications, change orders, and project correspondence.
    • Prepare and review engineering reports, proposals, and technical documentation.
  • Communication:


    • Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
    • Provide regular updates on project status, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in structural steel projects or a similar engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in structural steel projects or a related engineering role.
