School Counseling Secretary South Windsor Public Schools is seeking a secretary to work in the school counseling department at South Windsor High School. Qualifications We are seeking an individual with the skills necessary to maintain a professional atmosphere in an office that is in constant contact with members of both the school community and the community at large. The successful candidate must have positive interpersonal and communication skills, well‑developed organizational skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and a strong desire to help others and assist students, families, and staff members as they seek the services of the school counseling department. Applicants must have the ability to manage multiple tasks, and knowledge of MS Office, Google, and other Windows‑based applications. Familiarization with PowerSchool and Naviance is a plus. Previous experience working with adolescents is required. Salary & Benefits Salary: The current entry rate is $27.59 per hour with incremental increases.
