Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time opportunity is available for a Certified School Nurse to support a K-12 educational setting in Clairton, PA. This contract position spans the current school year, starting immediately and continuing through the end of the school year, serving a single school with approximately 800 students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania Certified School Nurse (CSN) certification
• Experience providing nursing care to students across kindergarten through 12th grade
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for comprehensive health support
• Strong organizational skills to manage student health records and compliance requirements
• Experience in health assessments, care planning, medication administration, and emergency response within a school environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing services to students K-12, ensuring their health and safety during school hours
• Conduct health screenings, manage chronic conditions, and address acute health issues
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and health professionals to promote student wellness
• Maintain accurate documentation of health care plans, immunization records, and incident reports
• Support health education initiatives and injury prevention programs
• Supervise and work alongside a CNA to provide comprehensive health care support

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Full-time hours within a school calendar schedule
