Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist at Arcadia, FL! This is a 5 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role: Phlebotomist

Location: Arcadia, FL 34266

Shift Schedule:

• Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Every 3rd Saturday 7:00 AM–11:00 AM

Hours per Week: 30 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $17-19.75/hour (Based on years of experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Phlebotomy & Specimen Collection
• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Prepare and process specimens according to established protocols.
• Maintain accuracy in patient identification, labeling, and documentation.
• Execute both forensic and clinical collection procedures with confidence and compliance.

Patient Experience & Communication

• Explain procedures clearly and create a calm, professional environment.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and uphold organizational values.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, coworkers, and the general public.

Operational Duties

• Complete daily tasks accurately and on schedule under minimal supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workspace.
• Adhere to all company policies, including safety, confidentiality, and dress code.
• Manage required logs, records, and documentation consistently.

Flexibility & Reliability

• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed.
• Must arrive on time, work full scheduled hours, and exhibit dependable attendance.
• Reliable personal transportation required (ride-share/bus drop-off is not acceptable).

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (Required)

Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
