Patient Care Technician (PCT)

Schedule Overview: Monday/Wednesday/Friday only clinic at this time. Earliest shift start is 5am, latest shift end if closing is 9pm. Shifts are typically 10-13 hours long scheduled in advance. Our schedule may expand to include Tue/Thu/Sat in the future, in which case rotated Saturdays will become part of the scheduling.

Locations: Working full-time at Dixie Dialysis but may sometimes float to Mojave, Hurricane, or Iron Mission dialysis for coverage.

Support Staff: Floor team consists of 2 nurses and 3 PCTs.

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
