LanceSoft is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Burlington, Massachusetts.

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Progressive Care (PCU) / Float Pool
Facility: Lahey Hospital and Medical Center
Health System: Beth Israel Lahey Health Inc
Location: 41 Mall Road, Burlington, MA 01805
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 01/19/2026
End Date: 04/18/2026
Shift: 12-hour rotating (Days/Nights)
• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

 

🩺 Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Step-Down / Float Pool setting
• Titrate vasopressors and manage high-acuity patients
• Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and boarding units as needed
• Maintain safe patient ratios (typically 1:3–5)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care
• Adapt to floating assignments in 4-hour blocks during shifts

✅ Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS (AHA) – Preferred
• NIHSS – Preferred
• Epic charting experience – Required
• Must be comfortable titrating pressors (required – please confirm)
• Level I Trauma experience strongly preferred
  • If no prior travel experience, Level I Trauma experience is required
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months (perm/per diem/contract)
• Must pass Day 1 pass/fail testing
