Our goal is to maintain and grow students’ language proficiency while preparing them for long-term success in international exams like AP German and the DSD. Position Summary: We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and engaging German teacher to lead twice-weekly after-school classes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about language education who enjoys working with middle schoolers in a casual, group setting of approx. 15-20 kids. Responsibilities: Lead engaging, age-appropriate lessons focused on conversation, literacy, and cultural enrichment Incorporate structured progression toward language goals (A2/B1 level benchmarks) Create a welcoming, supportive classroom environment Coordinate informally with parent organizers as needed Qualifications: Fluency in German (native or near-native proficiency) Teaching experience with youth preferred (formal credentials a plus but not required) Passion for language education and cross-cultural learning Authorized to work in the U.S. Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate with experience This is a part-time contractor position through our nonprofit partner To Apply: We look forward to hearing from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr Deutsch-Lab
