*Position Overview:*
We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join our dedicated team. While two years or more of family law litigation experience is preferred, we will consider motivated candidates with less experience. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment. As an Associate Attorney, you will work with experienced attorneys and gain valuable hands-on experience in family law matters.
*Responsibilities:*
* Lead all aspects of family law cases, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, support matters, and domestic violence cases.
* Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
* Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
* Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings as necessary.
* Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to provide exceptional legal representation to our clients.
*Qualifications:*
* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in New York State.
* Two years experience in family law preferred.
* Strong commitment to client service and high ethical standards.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
* Eagerness to learn and develop proficiency in family law practice areas.
*Compensation:*
* Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, supplemented by a percentage of fees billed offering unlimited earning potential. Position is also eligible for bonuses.
