About the Job
This is a part-time, independent contractor, remote role for an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist. The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist will be responsible for creating Safety Snippets (training video) scripts, conducting safety training reviews of current material, and developing new safety training content.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Occupaitonal Health or Safety Science or similar
• 3+ years of EHS experience
• Knowledge of federal and state health and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Proficient with Google Suite
• Experience in the property restoration industry is a plus
• OSHA-certified trainer is a plus
What You Will Do
• Develop weekly satety training materials tor internal ano external stakeholders, including video scripts, quizzes, and video introductions
• Create toolbox talk handouts and supplemental information
• Develop safety training videos on a diverse range of topics
• Be the technical expert, and provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders
• Return deliverables by deadlines
Pay
• $25/hour
• You will be paid as an independent contractor (1099)
• Depending on our needs and your availability, there's potential for additional hours. We anticipate 2-4 hours a week to start.
