Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Behavior Specialist with BCBA certification is needed to support an Autism program in a P-8 classroom within a K-12 school setting. This contract position is based on-site and will run from January 7, 2026, to May 21, 2026, Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Location:

  • Denver area (east side), Colorado
  • One school assignment: Mosley P-8

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized behavioral interventions and support for approximately 12 students with Autism.
  • Collaborate with classroom staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and adjust behavioral strategies as needed.
  • Communicate with educational team members, families, and administration regarding student development.
  • Maintain compliance with district policies and state regulations regarding special education services.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active BCBA license is required.
  • Experience supporting Autism programs within classroom settings.
  • Previous experience working directly in a classroom environment preferred; Special Education teaching background is a plus.
  • Ability to work exclusively on-site; no virtual or hybrid arrangements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
